Each year, HomeAid Los Angeles/Ventura’s Project Playhouse™ brings together members of the community and building industry to build and donate unique 8' x 10' x 10' children’s playhouses for public viewing and subsequent live auction. Project Playhouse™ successfully raises funds and builds awareness because of the generosity of community supporters and building industry leaders.
This year’s playhouse village will return to The Lakes at Thousand Oaks. The village tour times are Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The tours are $2 per person. All funds raised assist with HomeAid Los Angeles/Ventura’s housing development program.
This year marks HomeAid Los Angeles/Ventura’s 8th-Annual Project Playhouse™. Please visit the playhouse village at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks to see three whimsical playhouses and one fun-loving doghouse on display, including builders such as LL Development Partners, Shea Homes, VPR Design Architects, and last but not least, Pardee Homes teamed up with American Girl® again this year to feature Kit Kittredge, who is starring in a movie this year to build her haven "American Girl® Kit’s Home on Abbott Place." This Pardee Homes playhouse will also be featured in New York, Chicago and Dallas.
